Background
Philip George joined Whiteside & Knowles in 1980 and after training was admitted as a solicitor in 1985. He is a Director of the Practice. He has vast experience over a wide range of legal practice and matters. A member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), the Law Society Personal Injury Panel and the Equine & Animal Lawyers Association. Philip is a past President of Lancaster, Morecambe and District Law Society.

Philip is passionate about the law and, as he is a Solicitor who “did everything” after qualifying, he has an interest in all aspects of it. He specialises in Litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Employment.
Philip has experience of cases acting against other parties represented by London or other city firms. One of his cases had cross border jurisdiction when he represented a client family who had been kidnapped in Ecuador.
Interests
On a personal note, Philip enjoys sport having played badminton at international level and squash at county level. A passionate traveller he is hoping to climb the summit of Everest by 2015.
He is a Trustee of Lancashire Association of Clubs for Young People and Sandblast, a charity which works to raise awareness of artistic and cultural appreciation of refuge communities in the Western Sahara.
